About Me: Hello! I am Karen Leuch (pronounced Looch), I live in St. Cloud with my husband Tony, and with our blended family, we have 6 adult children and 7 grandchildren. I have been photographing births since 2017, and have photographed both hospital births and home births. I have witnessed the joy of bringing a new baby into this world, but also the grief of loss when a child is stillborn. All babies deserve to have their story told. I have been told I am easy to talk to, that I am down to earth, and that my presence in the birth space is comforting. I understand the sacredness of the birth space, and am always respectful of the entire birth team.
About My Photography: Whether you prefer very modest photos, or you want photos of EVERYTHING, I shoot to your preference. Birth photos are never, ever shared online without written consent from you, and if you do allow me to share, you get to decide which photos you want shared. Birth photography is documentary in nature, meaning it's unposed, real, and raw. I want to document all of the details that you may not remember, or even know transpired, during your birth. Your partner supporting you, the emotions of meeting your newborn for the first time, and the look on your own face knowing that you did it! Having photos to look back on helps keep your memories alive.
